First, there was this recent typhoon which brought flood in the Philippines, destroyed houses and claimed lives. Now American Samoa followed – an earthquake at magnitude 8.3 on the Richter scale plus a huge tsunami – indeed, two unfortunate incidents which had brought so much massive damage to these tiny Pacific Islands.
