The Lost Boys is a 1980s American horror film about two young teenagers who moved in to California and found themselves face to face with teenage vampires. The hit film was directed by Joel Schumacher.

One of the young actors in the film, Corey Haim, recently died of substance abuse. He was 38 years old. As an adult he found himself hooked into prescription pills and cocaine. He was also once an overweight person.

Before his death he was slumped on his knees after waking up. He was brought to a hospital in Burbank, California but didn’t make it.
