The blogging community and social network sites was buzzing with the noise that WordPress.com site was down. With WordPress.com boasting its 287,309 bloggers and being popular among the blogging community, then its downtime was surely a big buzz after all.
WordPress.com downtime of 110 minutes was their longest downtime in four years which affected 10.2 million blogs including their VIP ones. They haven’t exactly pinpointed the root cause as to what had caused the massive downtime. According to their blog:

A newly released “We are the World” is now revived for Haiti victims. The song is retitled as “We are the World 25 for Haiti” which is made to increase awareness and seek more help for Haiti.
There were more than 80 performers who participated. Some of the artists found in the music video are Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne, Wyclef Jean, Josh Groban and Will.I.Am.

In Poland, Fat Tuesday is not complete without freshly baked pączki which looks like a plain brown doughnuts glazed with syrup but without a hole in the center. These doughnuts are mostly homemade which are made from a rich combination of eggs, sugar, fats and sometimes milk and fruit.
Even if there are many Christians in the world, only a few countries celebrate Fat Tuesday. In Poland, serving pączki is the Polish’s way of celebrating Fat Tuesday in their unique way.
