The Krispy Kreme challenge is up again this year for the marathon run. This challenge has been around since 2004 and happens yearly in Raleigh, North Carolina. Students at North Carolina State University host and participate on this annual charity event. The proceeds of this event go to the North Carolina Children’s Hospital.

Participants have to complete an hour of running from the NC State Belltower to a Krispy Kreme store two miles away. A dozen of doughnuts had to be eaten before running back to the Belltower using the same route.

Each year runners for this event is growing. It’s notably one of the hot topics even discussed in the internet at this moment.
