Chelsea King’s Body Found
San Diego County Sheriff Bill Gore confirmed that the body found near the Lake Hodges shoreline was that of the missing Poway teen Chelsea King.
Her body was found in a shallow grave. Investigators found a shoe first, which eventually led them to the discovery of her body.
On this announcement, thousands flocked to the candlelight vigil to mourn her loss.
The suspect, John Albert Gardner III, was already in the hands of the authorities. He will tried for charges of rape and murder in connection with this missing girl.
