An earthquake happened at Northern Illinois. The earthquake, which US Geological Survey measured at 3.8 magnitude one, was enough to wake up residents at 4 AM. The quake was felt from Wisconsin to Tennessee.
Fortunately, this earthquake was a mild one, so there were no reported casualties and damages.
Earthquakes happen so rarely in the area. Experts say that the last one probably happened more than 200 years. Scientists will still have to make further studies to understand what caused this tremor.
